# Add a visitor manually

Manually register a visitor and assign someone to follow up.

## What it is

Register a visitor directly from the dashboard, without them scanning the QR. Useful when you take details on paper or by phone.

## Who can do it

**Pastor/a** and **Administrador/a**, or a **Líder** (Leader) assigned to the Visitors module.

## Steps

### Open Visitors

Go to **Visitantes** (Visitors) and press **Agregar visitante** (Add visitor).

### Fill in the details

First name, last name, and **WhatsApp** are required. Add email, the **source** (how they arrived), and a prayer request if relevant.

### Assign someone to follow up (optional)

Choose who will follow up. That person gets a notification.

### Save

Press **Guardar** (Save).

## Common errors

* **"Nombre, apellido y WhatsApp son obligatorios"** (First name, last name, and WhatsApp are required) — complete those three fields.
* **The phone already exists** — that visitor is already registered in your church.
