# Import members (CSV)

Load many members at once from a CSV file.

## What it is

Add several members at once by uploading a CSV file, instead of creating them one by one.

## Who can do it

**Pastor/a** and **Administrador/a**.

## Steps

### Open the import

In **Miembros** (Members), choose **Importar miembros** (Import members).

### Prepare your file

Each row is a member. Recognized fields: **first name** (required), last name, **email** (required), phone, role, birth date, and gender.

### Upload and review

Upload the file and review the preview before confirming.

### Confirm the import

Koinia creates the members, generates a temporary password for each, and **skips emails that already exist**.

Emails already registered in your church are **skipped** to avoid duplicates.

## Common errors

* **Skipped rows** — the email already existed or a required field (first name or email) was missing.
* **Invalid format** — make sure the file is a CSV with clear headers.
